NEC Electrical Calculator Suite ("this site") is a free, ad-supported tool for US electricians and homeowners. We do not collect accounts, emails, names, or any personally identifiable information. This privacy policy explains what data is processed on this site and by third-party services we use.
Data We Do Not Collect

- No email addresses or contact forms (other than a public feedback email)
- No payment information
- No names or personally identifiable information
- No server-side logging of calculation inputs
localStorage (Browser Storage)
This site uses your browser's localStorage to save your most recent calculator inputs
so they are automatically restored on your next visit. This data is stored entirely in your browser
on your device and is never transmitted to any server. You can clear it at any time via your
browser's settings ("Clear site data" or "Clear cookies and cached data").
Keys stored include: vd_inputs, ws_inputs, kwh_inputs,
ec_inputs, cf_inputs, nec_bookmark_dismissed, and
per-page calculation count keys prefixed with nec_calc_.
If your browser's localStorage is unavailable (e.g., private browsing mode), the site falls back to default values silently — no error is shown and no data is lost.
Google AdSense
This site displays advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and other sites. You can opt out of personalized ads via Google's Ad Settings.
